Great list. I really enjoy Abel James’ podcasts. His interviews with Civilised Caveman George Bryant have been my favourites.
I didn’t know about the Dave Asprey one, I’ll give it a listen soon.
Top 10 Best Paleo Podcasts
I’m a big podcast fan. If I have to commute or I’m out on a morning walk I’ll generally tune in to a paleo show. Since we ditched our TV licence in November it’s also given us more time in the evenings so we’ll sometimes listen to a podcast together or I’ll put on a episode that I think Ellie would like. If you want to keep up to date with the latest in paleo land then it’s worth checking out some of these guys.
Here’s a list of our favourite paleo podcasts that we subscribe to. All of these are available through iTunes or you can use the links to go direct to the websites where you can listen to or download the shows. Do have a look at archives for these podcasts as a lot of them have some excellent guests and you might find a new author you like or an answer to a question you’ve had for a while.
Robb Wolf - The Paleo Solution Podcast
This is my go-to podcast every week. Robb Wolf and Greg Everett answer listener questions and you get some real in-depth info on paleo and the nutritional science behind it. They also have some good discussions on strength & conditioning. They do a great job of really getting into the details of people’s concerns while keeping it engaging with plenty of good humour.
Chris Kresser – Revolution Health Radio
Ellie likes this one a lot. I’d have to say it’s maybe not as exciting as some other podcasts but the info is top notch. He covers a lot of female related topics and it’s worth checking his archive if you are looking for some paleo friendly advice which you’re not getting from your doctor.
The Fat-burning Man Show by Abel James
I’ve only recently discovered this show but it’s fast becoming a favourite. Abel is an excellent host (great voice too) and has some really interesting guests on the podcast.
Yo! What’s Up, Y’all! We both love all Sean Croxton’s stuff and this show is no exception. Sean is a great for dishing out sensible diet advice as well as covering stuff like hormones, digestion and detoxification. If I had one criticism it’s that the guests can either be fantastic, like Paul Chek, or a bit average.
The Livin’ La Vida Low-Carb Show With Jimmy Moore
The topics Jimmy Moore covers can be pretty wide ranging within the diet and fitness genre so I do pick and choose my episodes from this podcast. However, this show has put me on to some very interesting people I would have never known about otherwise so do check it out.
Dr. John Briffa – A Good Look at Good Health
Representing UK!! Dr B. is excellent at dissecting research and studies as well as providing health advice. It’s good to hear somebody from our shores on a podcast.
I love the ideas that come out from Dave Asprey’s show. A good dose of paleo nutrition but also biohacking, interviews and research to help you upgrade your body and mind. He’s big on self experimentation which I like.
Balanced Bites: Modern Paleo Living
Another good humoured podcast which covers a lot common health concerns. If you’ve got a paleo question there’s a good chance it’s been answered here. Also a good resource for family, women’s health and skin care info.
Angelo Coppola – Latest in Paleo
This is a really popular podcast. Angelo offers a view on the latest health news and has a good selection of guests.
Also worth checking out:
Relentless Roger and The Caveman Doctor
Got a favourite podcast? Are there any we’ve missed out that we should be listening to?

I’ve just started listening to the new podcast ‘Health and Comedy’ by Dan French and Amy Kubal (a dietician who also blogs for Robb Wolf).
The podcast is approximately 10% science, 40% handy implementation tips and 50% southern snark. Possibly not everyone’s cup of tea, but I’m immensely entertained by it. http://healthycomedian.com/podcast-show/
I also enjoyed the handful of episodes of ‘Live, Love, Eat’ made by Stefani Ruper, which are mostly about the emotional side of food and exercise. She interviews some ‘ordinary’ individuals, as well as some well known in paleo, including Stacy Toth, Dean Dwyer and George Bryant.

Yeah I’m really getting into Abel James’s shows, they are really easy to listen to. I’ve never heard George Bryant – I like his site though, I’ll have a look out for that one.

I really like listening to podcasts when I’m out walking. I pay much more attention compared to when I’m at home doing other things at the same time.

Awesome I haven’t listened to either of those before. Seen some of the articles on Stefani’s site – I’m sure sure Ellie will like that one. Thanks
